'Functional' medicine practicioner.
Wanted me to eat glorified Himalayan sea salt and guzzle apple cider vinegar as a cure-all for venous insufficiency. Did not inquire about kidney disease before making these unqualified medical claims for these substances to treat a condition. Claims to be a 'functional medicine' practicioner, which is an alternative medicine system with little to no evidence. Waffled when asked about particulars, like why ACV is any different from white vinegar, or how microbes adapted to live in an aqueous solution are meant to survive the bile and acid of my stomach for their alleged 'probiotic' action. Psuedoscientific.
