I was changing therapists at a place where she worked called CPC. I met her once and she explained to me how much she was 'looking forward to working with' me. I was skeptical and she didn't seem 'genuine.' In spite of this I agreed to have her assigned as my therapist.Come to find out she had already accepted a position at another clinic. So what exactly would the diagnosis be of someone who would do that? What type of person would convince a client to work with them when they knew that they were going elsewhere.To make a long story short my life and complex PTSD quickly improved because I learned a big lesson that this 'profession' has little to offer.
