Leigh Lorino, NP

My last visit to UAB Hoover wasn't a good experience. I did have the survey sent to me, but wanted to talk to another doctor to see if my experience was odd.I've seen Leigh Lorino before and the experience was rushed, but fine. So, when my regular nurse practitioner wasn't available I agreed to see Lorino. I must say all the front desk staff have always been friendly as well as the nurses. My nurses that day was nice, but rushed. My blood pressure was taken and it was very high. I do have high blood pressure but it's being treated and isn't normally that high. I tend to experience white coat syndrome. In the past my doctor will take my blood pressure at the beginning and end of the appointment. I also keep records at home.With that said when Lorino came into the room she asked why it was so high? I explained it's not typically that high. Everything was rushed.
