I have been going to this medical provider for OBG procedures for 3 years since my family moved to North Carolina. Leah Alfino is excellent. She is caring and knowleageable medical provider. She patiently listens to all my questions and concerns. She is always smiling and positive. I highly recommend her.

When a health care professional makes your visit a caring and friendly visit it distracts the worry and discomfort of not wanting to be there. Leah is amazing- you can tell how passionate she is about the care she provides for her patients and I’m grateful for her professionalism and friendliness during my visit.

Leah is amazing! She took time to listen to my concerns and throughly took time to explain things to me. I felt cared about and I will definitely continue to be a patient of hers.

I have been seeing Leah Alfino since my practitioner retired several years ago. I always feel heard, she answers questions we talk about alternatives. She genuinely cares about my overall health. For women past childbearing years it’s difficult sometimes to be heard about what your body is going through. Leah cares about my quality of life and health.

When I called to make the appointment I specified my request for coming to see Leah. The office confirmed that she would be able to assist me. While speaking with Leah she informed me that she can no longer prescribe my requested rx but she then advised me to call my insurance company to see if the rx is covered. It didn't matter if the rx was covered by insurance because she had stated that she couldn't/wouldn't prescribe it. She continuously tried to convince to go with a plan offered by their office which was totally different from what I requested. She should have called me prior to my appointment and informed me that she would not prescribe my requested rx and gave me the option to come in and listen to alternatives should I chose to do so. Very disappointed.

Leah Alfino is awesome! I felt like she was actually listening. I have a hard time explaining things anyway, but she was able to understand my issues. She didn't just send me away feeling worse. I have literally left offices crying because a provider wouldn't care enough to really help me. They would just tell me I need to lose weight or talk therapy. Leah didn't just send me away. She talked with me, and I felt heard for the first time!

What a wonderful experience I had with the staff at Lakeshore Women very friendly, accommodating and professional. Leah Alfino was just great. I really had a good experience with her. I would recommend which I’ve already done very informative, good listener, and knowledgeable. I have a new gyn provider and am I’m totally pleased.. I would recommend Leah she’s great!

Leah is far beyond any medical person I've seen related to women's issues. I'm a psychologist and, I can say that her level of listening skills and care is exceptional. I felt comfortable sharing the most intimate details of my problem. My husband has attended the appointments with me and feels comfortable having personal discussions with her. Her knowledge of options for remedies for help is amazing. Seeing her has given me hope for solving a problem that's been ongoing for at least a year (after seeing 2 other gynecologists). She gives hope for follow-up if her suggestions don't work and suggests that I call her anytime to assess my situation. I trust that she has my best interest in mind.

Leah Alfino was professional, and thorough took the time to get to know me. Made recommendations to improve my health and answer any questions that I may have had. I will continue with clear Alfino and lakeshore women’s health in Mooresville, North Carolina.

All the staff is very nice and friendly. Ms Delfino was very professional, knowledgeable and open to try the least invasive treatment first. She make me feel comfortable and answer all my questions.I highly recommended her.

Leah is not a kind, caring person to her family. In fact, she is cruel and has no problem stealing someone else's inheritance.

I am a menopausal woman and had a terrific experience with Ms. Alfino. She spent lots of time with me and answered all of my questions. She was intrested in me and seemed sincere.

I’m past child bearing years and feel like this clinic is solely dedicated to pregnancies. I completely understand that pregnancies are the happy answer rewarding aspect of female care. But, I feel like I’m rushed and my questions aren’t answered. If you cannot manage basic questions about menopause then don’t claim to be an ob/gynecologist. I’ll be liking for care elsewhere after several visits with Leah Alfino. Personable aspect is gone. You’re rushed and on to mommy to-be care. I cannot imagine how awful this place would be if you couldn’t have children. They are so focused and our eyes on the moms to be that it’s poor care at menopausal age! Not an all around practice for sure.
