I think she tried her best, but I have had to work with another provider to heal some damage this person did by minimizing and invalidating the intimate partner abuse I was experiencing at the time of treatment. I would recommend working on counter-transference and denormalization of common dysfunctional intimate power dynamics (e.g. codependency, bullying, pursuing/distancing, etc.)
