Dr. Laurie Lash, PHD

I have been working with Dr. Lash for about 6 months. She is compassionate and understanding, and she has offerred me strategies to move past some tough times.

She has all the air of being kind but she thinks only of herself and not her patients. Starting with the minor of always being EXTREMELY late to her appointments with DD in her hands with no care or concern of other people's schedules. She also takes the focus off the patient and uses the sessions to talk about herself and her life. My child would tell me that she barely got to open up to her during their hour sessions. Then when my child did and mentioned suicidal thoughts and intentions, Dr. Lash NEVER told me! Patient confidentiality is trumped when this type of thing is mentioned. When my child did hurt herself a few days later and she told me she told Dr. Lash, I immediatley confronted her. She downplayed it and said she felt it was a minor and not worthy to break confidentiality. What?!?! I could have lost my daughter because of her bad judgement and unprofessional behavior. I WOULD NOT SEND ANY CHILD TO HER! She's dangerous & should have her license revoked!

I used to see Dr. Lash back when my parents got divorced. She helped me through a rough time and was completely professional. I could not recommend her more highly.

Not so good, she did judge you and she wasn’t helpful. Also she was bad at answering the phone and returning calls/emails especially when there was an emergency where I needed to see her. She bad with timing she would have me wait 20 mins for her then when she would come out she would be like “oh just one second” then I hear her laughing with the other workers all in all I don’t recommend wasting ur money dealing with her.

She is amazing! We have seen her on and off for years and has always gone above and beyond for us. She has saved lives! I wish there were more Dr Lashs' out there! I would, and have, recommended her several times and all have been just as happy. She is an amazing therapist. Really gets to know you and your needs.

Dr. Lash is amazing! We have used her for multiple people and referred people who have also been pleased. She is very compassionate. Takes time to get to know you and your needs. I wish there were more psychs like her. I think she has above and beyond for our family a few times. Thank you Dr. Lash!

Dr. Lash is very unprofessional and seems to lack basic ethics. I would steer clear from her.

We have been seeing her for a couple months for my stepdaughter. She has been wonderful with her and in court. She has stood up for what is best for her and supported us completely. She's a great person and a great therapist.
