Lauren has made such a positive impact on my daughter’s speech! She sees her inside of my daughter’s daycare. She is passionate and engaged. She takes the time to communicate updates and progress after each appointment. We are so thankful for her!

There are no words that can explain how wonderful of a speech therapist Lauren is. My son started therapy with her over eight months ago and since then he has made significant progress. She sends daily reminders of things they reviewed so we can practice at home and is very attentive of the needs of each of her clients. One day my son was sick and she let us know in advance by telling us he didn't seemed like himself that day. His teachers state that his face lights up everytime she walks through the door to get him for his therapy session. His vocabulary and comprehension has increased significantly. He is getting more comfortable in verbalizing his needs and sharing his feelings. I would 100% recommend her to anyone whose child needs speech therapy. I am so grateful for all of the love and kindness she has shown to our son.

We worked with Lauren for over two years with two of our children. She worked with their audio processing disorders as well as a challenging 'r' sound connected with that. Our son has been seeing speech therapists for around 13 years. He realized the bulk of his improvement working with her. She researched different approaches. Finally, she helped our teenagers feel like their therapy was age appropriate. That was very important to them.

Lauren has worked with our three-year-old son for the last year. He's made significant progress and enjoys his speech sessions with "Miss Lauren." She's been great about offering tips on how we can continue to help our son at home. She's also been flexible when we've had to alter our schedule. I highly recommend Lauren for speech therapy.

Lauren has worked with our son for 2 years and has been such a blessing. Not only is she an excellent SLP but she works with the family’s schedule and educates on tips that work at home to make sure best speech practice continues even after the session is over.

Lauren has been our speech therapist for 2 years now. She is one of the most caring, patient, and friendliest people we have ever met and worked with. The progress my daughter has made in the past two years is amazing, and my daughter always enjoys going to theraphy and practicing her words. Even during covid, when we did zoom sessions... Lauren was patient and professional and we got to continue our theraphy. She could pick up on incorrect sounds or mouth placements even over zoom . We will miss her, and I highly Recommend her.

I would recommend her to anyone that would ask she is very good with kids and is understanding she is great

Lauren is a speech therapist for my 6 year old autistic son. Ever since we started with her, he had immensely enjoyed their time together. He has become more self-correcting during the last year of therapy with her and is motivated to continue the work. Lauren has also been wonderfully easy to communicate and work with as a parent. She answers all questions and showed us how to effectively work on articulation strategies at home. We are so thankful for our time with Lauren!

We loved seeing Ms Lauren for speech therapy. Both my kids, ages 2 and 4 were getting speech therapy here. She has the sweetest personality and both my boys were always excited to go to their appointment. We noticed a big improvement with speech and vocabulary and were very happy with Ms Lauren's services.

Over the past year, we have seen great improvement with our son. He used to say his “th” sound as an “f” and his “r” was more of a blend between “w” and “y.” We really noticed the difference today while watching a movie and their “r” sounds were just as our son used to say them. He then said the same words and we were SO surprised at how much he has improved!! It can be a slow process, but always moving in the right direction!!

Lauren has been seeing my so. For just over a year. I have seen such a huge improvement in his speech. He sees her in person but she has accommodated us and switched to online sessions when needed. She is good with kids and explains things well to the parents. I have enjoyed watching my son’s progress while working with her.

Lauren has been working with my daughter since 2017 - and the progress our daughter has made is incredible. Lauren is kind, conscientious, and committed to helping her clients learn and grow. She sends appointment reminders, is on time, and is easily one of the most cheerful people I have ever met. She always takes the time to explain what happened during a session, and sets up a plan for progression going forward. She truly cares about her clients, and my daughter (and I!) are very fortunate to work with her.

Lauren has been working with my now 14-year-old for over two years. My daughter has autism, some social and cognitive delays and struggles with anxiety. Our daughter has received speech therapy since the age of three and, being a military family, we’ve seen many different providers all across the country. That being said, Lauren is the best you could wish for your child. She is highly competent, she possesses intuitive flexibility in navigating my daughter’s special needs which optimizes the productivity of each session, and her patience and compassion are what brings my daughter to therapy with a smile on her face each time. I cannot recommend Lauren Vanzant enough. I count Lauren as one of my family’s biggest blessings especially as we see the social, emotional and language progress she’s made under Lauren’s care.

Lauren is amazing! She worked with my son for about a year and we have seen so many improvements to his speech throughout that time. She is very patient and so great with him as he is on the Autism spectrum and sometimes needs a bit more prompting than other kiddos. My son absolutely loved going to see her and talked about her often. She is by far has favorite teacher! We would recommend her over and over again!

Lauren is so loving, caring, soft spoken, patient, gentle and an absolutely INCREDIBLE speech therapists! She deeply cares so much about her kiddos and goes above and beyond to ensure they learn and grow. She is so responsive and eager to help families. Highly recommend her!

My son saw Lauren for about 8 months for his speech. He has made so many improvements in just a short amount of time. Lauren has done an amazing job getting my son to where he needs to be for his age. I'm so thankful for the time and care Lauren put into helping my son.

Lauren worked with our daughter for about 3 years while we were stationed at Fort Leavenworth. She made dramatic improvements in her ability to properly pronounce sounds. Lauren communicated with us regularly to ensure that we knew what we could do to help our daughter improve. Lauren was a joy to work with and we highly recommend her to anyone who needs the services of a speech therapist. We will miss her greatly.

2 of my children worked with Lauren....my 6 year old for trouble with "R" sounds and my 10 year old for memory issues and social skills (she has ADHD). Lauren was great to work with the entire time and we saw improvement in both girls. Lauren always communicated with me about what they were working on and how we could continue the work at home. The girls both responded well to Lauren's fun and gentle manner and enjoyed their time with her every session. We would highly recommend Lauren!!

My daughter (DD) was almost 2 1/2 years old, with language skills of a 10 month old, when she began seeing Lauren. We had an impending military move coming up, so we were getting as much work in as we could with our limited time, going up to 3 times a week for the 8 weeks we had before leaving. From the first session, Lauren made both DD and I feel comfortable. Within a few sessions, we could see improvement in how DD was trying to communicate with us, between making sounds and increased use of her sign language. The temper tantrums caused by frustration of not being understood decreased and we generally had a happier child. Lauren used learning through play and always talked to me about what specifically they were working on so we could focus on those sounds at home. I literally cried at our last session. The leaps and bounds our DD made were extraordinary to us and she continues to make improvements. I wholeheartedly recommend Lauren to anyone looking to help their child.

My daughter saw Lauren for about 9 months and made HUGE improvements. My daughter was so frustrated because no one could understand her even though she had so much to say. She had difficulty making friends, talking to family who didn't see her every day, and even had trouble talking to us (her parents) some of the time. We moved recently and with the work her and Lauren did, my daughter has already made several new friends, the family we have seen have understood her as well as other adults. She is so much happier of a child. I can't speak highly enough of the work Lauren does. As an added note, my daughter has a exceptionally strong personality. Lauren was able to work with her and have productive sessions even on the worst days.
