Lauren Oeser, PA

Laureen was not kind or empathetic to my situation. She made me feed bad and was very condescending and rude in the way she spoke to me. Didn’t ask a lot of questions to get my history. She referred me to a different procedure than two other providers had recommended.

Laureen Oeser is the worst provider I have ever seen. She was extremely condescending. She did not take my pain seriously, and even laughed at me when I told her how it has been affecting my life. I was very upset afterwards and did not feel like my concerns were taken seriously.

Laureen Oeser has been not only my primary care doctor when she was at Dr. Cherry's office but if I have to see a GI doc I won't go unless I can see her. She is very professional and listens very well to what my needs and concerns are. I don't get any of the poor reviews below because I have never had even remotely close to that experience. She is wonderful and caring and extremely helpful.

Ms. Roos-Oeser thinks she is all-knowing and all powerful. She stopped me from seeing my M.D. in the practice, whom I had seen before. Should have reported her to the CA Nurse Practitioner Board.

"Why are you here?" "What do you want from me?" With these questions I felt she had already decided her diagnosis and was not interested in any of my answers, recording dates of procedures incorrectly, with repeated corrections to my history. Was not willing to look at any of the documents that I brought in. Very condescending, coming up with her own ludicrous diagnosis. The physical exam that was performed was perfunctory and incomplete. At the end of the appointment I demanded to have a visit with the M.D. which she questioned explaining to me that she would give him her assessment. The M.D.'s in this office should not rely on this unprofessional-professional. A total waste of my time and further delaying my treatment by a highly recommended M.D.

Ignored everything I said, asked no questions, and ended up telling me I was essentially fine even though I told her that the treatment she prescribed made no difference. This lady had no knowledge of many common GI related issues and treatments. She literally wasted 4 months of my time. Avoid her like the plague, she is useless and not at all helpful.

I would never, EVER go back to Laureen. She is incredibly condescending. She spent 20 minutes berating me for not getting weighed. I wasn’t there for weight management, and I’m well within my rights to refuse the scale. It was not needed for my medical care. I have no weight loss/gain symptoms, nor have I ever. Instead of talking about the real issues, she wanted to focus on why I didn’t want to be weighed, saying, “You have to get weighed. It would be gross negligence if we didn’t.... What happened to you? Why? ...But, why? Why?” It was constant. She even went as far as telling me they may refuse to care for me, saying there is one more specialist in the area, but she wouldn’t trust him. Literally threatened to not care for me! I have a history of ED and the act of weighing myself is incredibly triggering. However, that is NOT something I am required to share. She should have respected my refusal. Her ignorance and disrespect was appalling.

Excellent. She was very professional. Listened to all my concerns. I had several things going on that had not been solo it out by other doctors and she listened to me carefully and began to research what was going on. Unfortunately we did not reach any conclusions because she was going on vacation shortly and I saw a different doctor when tests came back. I am shocked to read the other reviews. I have never had another doctor more interested in my well-being.

Like the other reviewers mention, she is very condescending and does not listen to the patient. I ended up in the ER a week after seeing her and then finally got in to see the GI doctor who had a completely different approach, one that I had mentioned to Laureen, but was dismissed. She is a disservice to the medical profession. She needs to learn how to ask patients questions and to listen to what they are actually saying, not just dismissing us as if we don’t know our own bodies.

I've been using this office for about 5 years and up until recently have been reasonably satisfied. I had been a patient of Tim Souchek PA but unfortunately he is no loner practicing in this office. I had my yearly psyical last month and had a few concerns. I spoke with her about them and she completely dismissed them as unimportant and didn't even press any further. Needless to say, I am seeking a new physician.

She is extremely condescending and didn't take me seriously at all. I believe my age has something to do with this but who knows -- she just kept treating me like I was an ignorant kid. I got a second opinion after having blood work done and the response I got was vastly different. She was writing off important indicators as bad habits -- habits I clearly explained I did not even have. I've never had a medical professional question my intelligence and make me feel like such an inconvenience.
