Lauren Hufnagle

Lauren is part of my physician’s care team and unfortunately, I’ve been stuck meeting with her on 5 or more occasions. Each time I’ve seen her, she is extremely rude and dismissive. It's a normal thing for her to audibly sigh throughout the appt if I ask questions or try to explain symptoms - as if I'm annoying her. She makes no effort to understand problems or find solutions – just talks over you, ignores you, and jumps to whatever conclusion gets you out the door fastest. She takes no aspect of her job seriously - even her 'exams' are a joke - she briefly glances - there is nothing thorough about her. It's baffling people like this are in the medical field.

This doctor is part of my care team, I dont see her often however. During both of my visits with her she had no previous knowledge of my chronic pain and other ongoing issues. I spent the better part of a 20 minute appointment requesting a chronic pain plan for the future and left the appointment frustrated and with no plan. It seemed she didn't care about my thoughts at all, didn't take anything I said into account. She made me feel rushed, and not heard. At the end she said I would have to see someone else to further help, even though she did nothing for me at all. If she's part of my care team, why isn't she caring for me and instead handing me off to someone else?
