I completed 10 eschoratic treatments with Dr. Blackham. She made me feel very comfortable every time and answered all my questions and concerns. She was genuinely concerned about my issues and went above and beyond to help me. I have seen in a transformation in my health already and feel amazing!

Dr. Blackham takes the time needed to really talk to me about my health goals and concerns. She's thorough, great at communicating and patient with my questions/concerns. I began seeing Dr. Blackham during spring 2020, I had just moved to Seattle for graduate school and my student insurance covers naturopathic care while both Dr. Blackham's practices took this insurance. I went to Dr. Blackham for my annual check up, bloodwork, and gynecology. She's very caring, comprehensive, and communicative! Dr. Blackham guided me through nutrition, yoga practices, bodywork, and travel health practices + vaccines. I've been navigating rising blood sugar and shoulder pain as a result of changes in my lifestyle due to the pandemic and grad school. I'm so thankful to have met Dr. Blackham during this time in my life and I hope to continue seeing her when I'm back in Seattle.

Dr. Blackham is everything you want in a doctor; she is professional, caring, and patient when listening to my concerns. She takes a pragmatic yet comprehensive approach to issues and provides multiple options to pursue. I love the mixture of eastern and western medicine. I highly recommend.

Dr. Lauren Blackham is a trustworthy and welcoming provider. She shows genuine, informed respect for my gender, sexual, and racial/ethnic identities. In a country with so many barriers to healthcare, seeing a queer provider of color is a meaningful form of self-care for me, and Dr. Blackham supports my autonomy and wellness.

Dr. B has been by our side as a provider in difficult times and to support our general wellness since her days as a resident. Our family (my spouse, 3 adult kids, and me) have seen her for many things, including annual exams, having stitches removed, high blood pressure, burnout, and keeping a watchful eye on abnormal bloodwork. Dr. B takes time to listen and she genuinely cares. She makes recommendations in a way that is supportive of our own inner wisdom and provides referrals to specialists when needed. My queer kids feel safer with Dr. B than with any other doctor ever.

Since I moved to Oregon I’ve been struggling to find a provider as good and friendly as her. Wish I could have seen her more than a couple times. Super informative about lifestyle changes to aid in getting better

It has been critical for me to find a doctor I trust and feel heard by as I began my gender affirming medical transition. I have come to expect interactions in medical offices that range from impersonal and confusing to explicitly negative; in stark relief, Dr. Blackham has been a caring, attentive, and clear in all communications and interactions. I am grateful for Dr. Blackham and look forward to continuing care with her.

I went to Dr. Blackham for almost a year for SIBO treatment. During the treatment, I was on a low FODMAPs diet, which is highly restrictive, not very healthy, and is not meant to be a longterm solution. Unfortunately, Dr. Blackham really struggled with coming up with an effective care plan for me. While under treatment with her, my SIBO symptoms actually became significantly worse, and she prescribed really strong antibiotics before trying Candibactin-AR + -BR, which is what I had asked for (a clinically proven treatment specifically for Methane SIBO - she put me on antibiotics known to be most effective for hydrogen SIBO). After being under her care and on a low FODMAP diet for a year, I finally switched doctors, got prescribed Candibactin AR and BR on the first visit, took it for two months, and have now been SIBO free for three months. I feel amazing. Ultimately, it felt like there was no sense of urgency in Dr. Blackham's treatment plan, and the knowledge just wasn't there.

Dr Blackham provided all my gynecological tests and follow up, guiding me through the specialist referral process and supporting me with the best care and expertise

Caring, thoughtful, and thorough care for my infant with several unexplained medical issues and developmental delays. She took time to listen and never rushed appointments. With her support, testing, and referrals to specialists my baby is doing extremely well now!
