Dr. Lauren Bisk, PSY

Lauren has been very helpful as a therapist. She's a very active therapy, asks a lot of questions, and I would recommend her if you like this kind of approach.

I've been going to Dr Bisk for about 6 months and she has helped me understand my patterns and tendencies. She also gave me valuable strategies to handle the issues in my personal life. She can pick up on things that I was not able to.

I've been seeing Dr. Bisk for 8 months now on an (almost) weekly basis and truly feeling how much progress I've had during this time. She's helped me recover from a heartbreak, a loss in the family, and deal with everyday career shenanigans in a very open, candid conversation and throughout insightful, professional observations. Dr. Bisk recommended me to see a psychiatrist while seeing her as well, and this holistic approach of hers helped a great deal. I feel very comfortable sharing everything with Dr. Bisk, and it's apparent how much she cares, listens, and genuinely wants the best for me.

Like one of the prior reviewers before me, Dr. Bisk was the first therapist that I ever saw, and I could not be more satisfied with her services. I've now been seeing Dr. Bisk for a little over a year now, and I can truly notice the difference between who I am now and who I was when I walked in for my first session. Dr. Bisk is a fantastic listener and communicator and helps me discover things about myself that I previously was unaware of. Highly recommend.

Great for couples therapy - My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Bisk for couples therapy for a few months now - she's a great listener and her experience helps her to pick up on nonverbal queues which highlight our individual areas of struggle. She doesn't treat our individual anxieties but rather helps us to find ways to support each other in a way that's more constructive to a happy and healthy relationship. I highly recommend considering Dr. Bisk.

Dr. Bisk is the first therapist I have ever seen, so I was nervous about what the expect. But from the first session, she made me feel very comfortable. Her compassion has allowed me to start dealing with multiple issues going back many years, and I am grateful for the help and guidance she has provided so far. While I have been seeing her for only a few months, I feel she provides a "safe" environment for me to explore some complicated problems, and forge a positive way forward.
