Laura Wilk, PA-C

Ms. Wilk failed to maintain her status as a provider under Empire BCBS at the time of my visit to the Bohemia GoHealth Urgent Care Center. As a result I received a bill for $345 for her services when my insurance should have covered the visit. I have tried to resolve this bill with Northwell for over a year and they continue to delay taking responsibility for her mistake. If the bill does not get resolved it will be sent to collections and affect my credit.

I have seen Laura Wilk at Urgent Care in Bohemia multiple times in the last year and she is incredibly kind, caring, thorough and knowledgeable. She is patient and really listens to her patients. More than that, she is refreshingly proactive and always goes out of her way to do right by her patients. She personally follows through with results and I feel better taken care of by her than anyone else I have encountered in the medical field.

I've been in the care of P/A Wilk since 2013 and I prefer to call her Doc because of her knowledge, professionalism and compassion. I suffer from chronic joint pain, neuropathy pain, inflammation pain and I have not yet met any medical professional of her " Character and Skills ." She would be a great asset to not only what she is presently doing but " Teaching " future medical personals. Doc, you are the "True" epidemy of what it means to be a Medical Professional.
