Overall, it was average an appointment. I was brought back for initial testing and current eye sight very quickly, but then escorted into another waiting room for 15-20 minutes to wait for a doctor. I was then sat in another room where I waited for another 10 minutes. This was after being asked the day before to come in earlier for my appointment. Finally, I had my exam with the doctor. It was just a regular, annual exam, but only at the end I was told they were going to submit a claim against my medical insurance instead of VSP. I’ve been to eye doctors for many years; this exam was no different than previous exams so it’s perplexing it was a medical exam. The staff was great though, so it’s disappointing the rest of the experience was not pleasant. Perception is profit is more than patient satisfaction and health.
