She talked about herself and told personal stories the whole hour and did nothing for my teenager when I joined them in session. There was little progress made and treatment ended after a short while.

Absolutely the worst councilor I have witnessed. She was never able to offer any help in finding common ground or working together to find a solution. Family members had separate sessions which did not allow for the ability to address issues together in a head-on manner. Quite frankly I believe she made the situation worse.

Laura Gaines deals with my teenager's "attitude" well. She has a no-nonsense approach to communicating with him which seems to be effective. Ms. Gaines seems to have earned his trust and a certain degree of respect which is saying quite a bit.
