Dr. Laura Ellick, PHD

I began to see Dr. EllickI was suffering from severe depression social anxiety suicidal tendencies as well as self harm issues. Dr. Ellick always seemed half heartedly to give advice and not really interested in how I was suffering. I was a teen who was struggling so I settled for her half hearted presence. After a few months of seeing her I called before our next appointment to tell her my parents were trying to have me admitted because I had a suicide plan. Her response was “I’m glad you called I’m taking a new job and can’t see you anymore” that was it! She did not seem concerned about my present condition and did not offer to refer me to anyone else that was the last I ever spoke to her. I have seen many therapist sense and I can say with confidence she was the worst. It has taken me till this point to even talk about this traumatic time in my life.

I have been to many drs over the years, not only did Dr. Ellick teach me skills that I have carried throughout my whole life, she was the most helpful and qualified psychologist I have ever been to. I would highly recommend her to anyone and you would be lucky to find her if you’ve been to other therapists you would know how much of a gem she is. I could not thank her enough for changing my life!

Really good doctor. Helped me figure out exactly what was going on in my head in addition to providing support. Wish I had more time with her!

Dr. Slick did not help the situation at all. Her therapy technique was extremely superficial and I didn't feel like you even tried to get to the real issue. When things were at there worst, she said I needed to find a new therapist.
