I visited this urgent care on June 25th and received extremely poor service from the provider I saw, Laura O’Connell. She was very dismissive and did not care to listen to me or how I was feeling. I came in on that Sunday because I was in a lot of pain with a severe sore throat and sinus infection and my normal doctor’s office was closed. After finally being seen after 2 hours of waiting, she tried sending me home with no treatment. Only after I broke down crying did she agree to give me antibiotics to treat it, and tried telling me about the over prescribing of antibiotics. She gave me a very low dose for only 1 week and told me I “probably wouldn’t need it”. Fast forward a week, I am still feeling miserable and my throat is still killing me. I went into my regular doctors office and got a 2nd opinion and they said that OnPoint Urgent Care absolutely under treated me. So I have been suffering for 2 whole weeks and wasted time and money at this urgent care. I want to let people know do NOT waste your time here. They will treat you like you’re lying, making up symptoms, etc. and that you “don’t need medicine”. Go to a regular doctor instead if you actually want to be taken care of and treated. I am disgusted at the service I received here and have been continuously suffering due to her lack of care.
