Laura Barry, LCSW

She is very calming and trustworthy. Even an "angsty" teenager found solace and comfort talking with her. She has great turnaround time for new patients, low wait times, simply fantastic. You can make an appointment online- there are no front receptionists or staff, walk-in, have a seat, and she will walk out and get you when it is your time.

I've seen Laura for over a year and I can honestly say she is on of the best I've had. I've been going to therapy on and off since I was 15yrs old. She is an active and reflective listener. She also gives objective advice and suggestions to utilize for your issues. She's very down to earth and easy to talk to!

Dr. Barry is a very receptive listener, and also expresses supportive and understanding ways to deal with issues. I have had an extremely challenging experience through a lengthy and very troubling path. Yet, every time I have a visit with Laura, I come away strengthened and reaffirmed. She is a nice lady, however i do not believe she is a good counselor. She spends endless time making sure insurance and assessment information is correct so that she can get paid, during the session. She did not intervene when needed nor try to put in input. I felt as if our time was wasted, she didn't really care to find out the issue and address it. We visited her four times and our Last visit she didn't even remember us. It was just very furstrating and useless having her as a counselor.
