Latasha Carter, LCSW

My experience with Dr. Latasha Carter was professional and what I needed. She provided clarity to problems I was struggling with. Opening up to her was easy she made me feel comfortable during my visit. She was very knowledgeable about my symptoms and helped give me homework to do outside of my session to improve my mental health. I am grateful for my therapist.

First visit I felt like things were going to be off to a good start, however that was not the case after the first session. The second session she wouldn’t let me speak and would cut me off when I was trying to express myself. Cut my time short during the second session. The third as last time I showed up, she didn’t get be in until 15 minutes past start time. After about 5 minutes she walked out of the room and came back about a minute later to grab her phone and walk right back out. Once she finally came back about 7-8 minutes later, she was texting on her phone the rest of the session, instead of focusing on me and my issues I was trying to work through. I maybe got 15 minutes of session time, yet still charged for a full hour. Extremely disappointed how she is a professional, yet treated me poorly! I would not recommend her to anyone...
