Kristen is the single worst therapist I’ve ever had. I began therapy due to stress with my move/transition to Indy, as well as coping mentally with a serious chronic illness. From the beginning, I got a (false) sense of security in her office. Her website/profile blurbs, plus touted “specialties,” made me feel like she’d be a competent, effective therapist. How wrong I was. Kristen’s saccharine sweet facade was just that: a facade. She ended up breaching crucial therapy confidentiality. Though she’s not anything close to a medical doctor, she had the audacity to say which (and how many) long-standing medications I should/should not be taking. She actually contacted some of my medical doctors to express her disapproval (and place blame on me and/or them). Kristen’s end result wasn’t to counsel me, assist me, or understand my situation, ever. She had a myopic, denigrating approach to therapy. For counseling services, there are far more competent, honest, and intelligent therapists.

Kristen was immensely helpful. Went through a stressful period including a long term relationship breakup followed by a period of depression and anxiety. I had approximately six sessions with Kristen. After each session I felt an immediate sense of relief and clarity. Kristen helped me identify underlying causes of my anxiety and simply realizing those previously unknown causes helped me to deal with them on my own. Kristen is extremely personable and easy to talk to. Highly recommend A++
