I saw Kristin for what turned out to be a stomach virus. I also told her about a possible thyroid issue I had been trying to get checked by my PCP who is a (mostly absentee) physician in the same office. She listened to my concerns and ordered the blood test which turned out that I have hypothyroidism. Her office called me asap with the results and immediately sent a thyroid medication to my pharmacy. They will also call me to have my levels checked again via bloodtest in several weeks. I am hoping to switch to her as my PCP, or at least continue my medical care mainly with her going forward. THANK YOU KRISTEN for listening to a patient concern and taking appropriate action rather than leaving me to be ignored. You are much appreciated.
