If you have a super basic need, I'm sure Kristen would be fine. Unfortunately, if you or your child has a moderate to advanced need, Kristen is not the therapist for you. She dose not provide you with a treatment plan or any session notes if asked. She is judgemental and her facial expressions do not hide this. She does not take the time to focus on issues that the parent brings up (...probably because she does not treatment plan and takes little to no notes during session so she doesn't know an accurate level of progress a client is making between sessions). She is a VERY, VERY tip of the iceberg therapist and does not get to the root of the problems. Essentially, we sought help for emotional release and regulation, coping skills, and self-esteem for our little one brought on by emotional trauma. After several months of not focusing on these issues, we could not in good conscience continue to waste money and get nowhere. I do not, and would not EVER recommend Kristen Bishop.

Kristen is an excellent counselor. She has helped me so much with issues relating to weight loss. So many times I have gone in feeling down, and being very hard on myself, but she sees beyond these feelings and points out the positive changes I have made and helps me to figure out how to continue with my journey. I would highly recommend her for help with weight loss, or any other life issue.
