I had an appointment where she had written a referral to a provider that I didn’t find out till later was not covered by my insurance. When I attempted to contact her through the online portal and over the phone to get it corrected I was ignored. So I made another in office appointment in which she refused to write me a referral to a provider covered by my insurance because she had “other patients”. When asked why, she said I need to call my insurance and find a doctor covered by my insurance then contact her and she’d write the referral. Yet as stated last time she didn’t respond to any attempts to contact her. So after questioning her further she yelled at me and walked out of my appointment saying “you have to see someone else cause I can’t do it”. I saw her for less than 4 minutes. Very unprofessional, rude, horrible bedside manner and doesn’t seem to be able to handle simple pressures of her job. If she can’t handle the pressures of her job she shouldn’t have taken so many appointments at once and taken it out on a patient. No excuse for this kind of behavior. Completely shocking and I will never be returning to this office.

A true Blessing!!:) NP Krista Brown is very knowledgeable and direct, just what you need and should want from any primary care professional. I am thankful to have found her and it's not far from my home.

I waited for this appointment and I explain never to use CRISP and what does she does use it. Shakura assure this was not happened just what medication you use. Not only that my prescription was suppose to be for 90 days end up she put in for 30 days. If I can't trust my doctor/nurse practitioner why go there again.

Very disappointing. Went for a yearly well visit. She would not discuss pain I was having unless I paid a copay . No exam was done. Refused to do a breast exam. I will not return. Sinai advertises " Care Bravely". She clearly does not care.
