Dr Hoppes is great at breaking down issues. She is very perceptive, insightful, and wise. She has helped me confront so many different challenges! One of the most important lessons I have learnt out of these sessions is to see through my fears, and find my courage from doing so. I am so lucky to have her as my therapist!

I've been a patient of Dr. Hoppes for decades (on and off). She has helped me through very serious life issues - deaths of my parents, career changes and a crisis in my child's health. She is always patient, an outstanding listener, has incredibly helpful insight and has excellent medical knowledge. I always feel better leaving her office than I felt coming in for a session.

Dr. Hoppes is incredibly validating and insightful. She is an empathetic listener who provides practical and effective strategies. She is flexible with appointment schedules and is able to consult virtually. Dr Hoppes has unquestionably helped improve my quality of life. I recommend her highly.

I started working with Dr Hopes over 7 years ago. She is extremely insightful, compassionate, thorough and thoughtful. She is able to illicit wisdom and self-compassion repeatedly. I cherish our work together and find her consistency and devotion to her work inspiring. I can not recommend Dr Hoppes enough.

I’ve been seeing her for a while but recently has been late, and forgetting details that I’ve mentioned in previous sessions. She confused me with another client a few times during one session. She also has stopped taking notes for the last few sessions. The quality of care has deteriorated immensely and it saddens me to write this review.

I trust Kim Hoppes with my life. That’s what it comes down to for me. A highly trained professional, she exudes compassion and understanding. For six years, she has helped me navigate everything from the big stuff of sudden loss, trauma, and IVF to the everyday ebbs and flows of life. I am grateful that I had been working with her prior to the big stuff and that I am able to discern the big from the small stuff much more than when we started. I feel very cared for by her, as well as guided to really look within and find and embrace my strength and choose joy. I started working with Kim Hoppes a few months ago for DBT therapy. Kim is a very skilled and compassionate therapist. She has extensive knowledge around working with patients suffering from addiction and depression. I've worked with several therapists in the past and prefer Kim's approach which is very skill-based and action-oriented. Kim asks great questions which foster both reflection and problem solving. Highly recommend!
