Kera Selzer, NPC

My 2nd trip to see Ms. Selzer, she sat down at her laptop facing away from me, and said “How’s the diet going?” We hadn’t discussed a diet so I said, “I haven’t been on a diet” and she responded, “I know.” She told me that I had rheumatoid arthritis and my body was attacking itself before I ever visited a rheumatologist, who didn’t diagnose me with RA. Ms. Selzer gave me complete physical in less than 10 minutes and never touched me. She enters discussions into notes that did not take place, ie. exercises for the pain in my ankle. Refused to prescribe Fluoxetine because she said she had given me a psych referral that I never heard from. I don’t even know what doctor it was. So, I quit taking those meds, because I figured they weren’t important. “Not important” was the main message that Ms. Selzer communicated to me.

Kera is personable and friendly, I am always relaxed when I have an appointment. She is through in examination and diagnosis. Everything is explained to me in terms I can understand.

Kera sees my entire family. She is compassionate and realistic. She responds to questions quickly.
