Dr. Kenneth Sawyer, OD

Dr. Sawyer answered questions I had quickly and with clarity. He was upbeat, friendly, and reassuring. I would say he has a gift for patient communication in addition to knowing his business!

Very kind man, however, he promised me on two separate occasions (consultation and pre-op) that my fiancé could be in the operating room in the corner of the room during my lasik procedure (swore he would make sure the surgeon knew and was ok with it) and that I would be able to receive additional medication for my nerves before the procedure, but he happened to be off the day of my procedure and both promises were unkept. The procedure went great otherwise, I just think he should not make promises that can’t be kept.

Dr. Sawyer is very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. He spent time answering all my questions and didn’t rush me at all. This was my first visit. I’m very happy the caring way Dr. Sawyer treated me. I highly recommend Dr. Sawyer.

I had my LASIK proceedure in March. It was a great experience. I have had glasses for 25+ years and contacts for 20 years. I wouldn't have it any other way now. I was always nervous about doing it but Clemson Eye made me feel comfortable. The Staff and Dr. Sawyer made all the appointments leading up to surgery day calm and at ease. Dr. Parisi was the one who actually did the procedure but I was mostly with Dr. Sawyer and the staff doing all my scans. It was amazing driving to my follow up the day after surgery and having 20/20 vision by the week after surgery. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Sawyer is very knowledgeable and friendly. He answers all my questions with patience and doesn't make me feel rushed.

Dr. Sawyer was the first Dr. I dealt with when going through the viability process for LASIK. He put me at ease regarding my concerns and also was very forthcoming about all the small details related to the LASIK surgery. Great sense of humor and positivity made for a great experience.

Dr Sawyer is upbeat,patient and very thorough. He was able to find my problem within the first minute of my eye exam. A previous Dr with a different eye group in Greenville dismissed my problem as "nothing" however, if a person's vision is hindered in any way, to that person it's not "nothing".
