After working with Kelsey for several months and finally making improvement in independent implementation of CBT and stress management techniques, she went out on maternity leave. At the time of her departure, I stated I did not plan to search for another therapist because of the time, energy and cost inherent to the endeavor, especially working long hours. Upon her return, she learned of my history of disordered eating patterns and refused to work with me despite being in recovery, biweekly participation in support group, oversight by primary physician. Finding a therapist that shares your philosophy and goals of therapy is paramount to treatment outcome. I have not yet found another therapist and feel betrayed and abandoned by Kelsey. As a medical provider with the same level of education, never in my life can I imagine turning a patient away that asks for help. Never.

She's an excellent therapist! I highly recommend her.
