Dr. Katie Holnbeck, OD

I saw Dr. Holnbeck after her partner performed cataract surgery on me. This was my 4th post-op visit and she said my vision was fine. I told her I did not understand how she could tell me my vision was 'fine' when I told her everything in the distance was blurry. She then started raising her voice while she was waving the little eye paddle they use at me, and said, 'There is nothing I can do. Your eyes won't even correct with prescriptions for distance glasses. You can't get back your lenses. I can't help it if your brain isn't accommodating to the new lenses.' It was unwarranted, waving that paddle at me and the vision chart, and speaking to me that way. She was informing me they couldn’t even correct my vision with eyeglasses and my distance would always be blurry when I had surgery to correct the vision! She was completely out of line yelling at a patient and lacked compassion.

She was very friendly but professional at the same time very informative took the time to explain everything that I had questions about recommended the doctor and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of my surgery wait time at the center with shorts staff professional and kind I have absolutely no complaints at this time very happy with the center

The doctor explained to me in great detail exactly what was occurring with my eyes.
