Dr Thigpen did a very thorough exam and testing. She recommended changes in my eyeglass Rx. Her staff was excellent, too.

Caring patient
Dr. Thigpen was thorough and professional. She put me at ease (white coat phobia LOL) and took her time- no hurrying. I felt she had my best interests at heart and knew her craft very well.

While I arrived early and she worked me in, I find that too many people are involved with a simple eye exam. Too many personalities to negotiate for a typical exam. And the doctor seemed self important, brusque, and refused all opportunities to communicate casually, was all business, wrapped it up quickly like she had a house fire to attend, concluded awkwardly, did not even say good bye, have a happy new year or pea turkey. I would say she is walking that fine line toward rudeness.
