Kathryn Berla, EDD

I’ve been seeing Kathryn Berlá for several years and she is AMAZING! She’s been supportive and helped me work through so much in my life. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her help.

The most incompetent human being I’ve ever met.

She cannot accept feedback or admit mistakes. She does not have sufficient and specific training to address your issues and/or attempts to treat problems outside the scope of the practice. She is judgmental or critical of your behavior, lifestyle, or problems. She is accusatory, angry, bitter and unhappy. She takes that out on you. She disregards all data that challenges her false narrative, often ignoring any and all documentation proving that she is allergic to truth.

I became very uncomfortable because she seemed to hold some racist views and and appeared to be against bi-racial relationships. She said “you people” and “your kind” often which was very disturbing.

Self-centered and vindictive. Could not tell the truth, ignores basic facts and gets most situations completely backward. I don’t even know how she ties her shoes in the morning. Shocking that courts actually listen to her…at least for now.

I would recommend putting your head in an active beehive before I would recommend this person.

She’s literally the worst person to determine someone’s future. If you’re ever given her for an evaluation, i STRONGLY suggest asking the court for someone worth your money that knows what they’re doing. She doesn’t even have her doctorate in psychology... she’s in full belief of parent Alienation, doesn’t believe in co-parenting and once she’s met the first party, she doesn’t care about the second party. She’s the most biased person I’ve ever met! She isn’t worth a penny. She’s super mean, has ZERO personality and always agrees with the parent that lies, uses the child as a leverage toy, doesn’t co-parent, and tells the child the other parent doesn’t want to see them, when they’ve fought for two years to see them. Which i guess when your husband leaves you because you’re so mean, you just turn and take it all out on your clients. She’s pathetic and not worth your time or money. You can believe we will be going to the bar for her license.

She was a horrible recommendation for my familys future. I totally agree with the comments above. We paid 5000 dollars werent seen until 6 months later. Shes judgemental overwhelmed and inadequate. Spoke to my kids once before ever knowing anything also diagnosing my son with a mood disorder because he cried when she only spoke to him once. Shes ignorant to parental alienation and narcissism easily manipulated focusing on irrelevant and mediocre details. Rushed my whole case.

First of all, her doctorate is not even in Psychology. Second, she has no knowledge of when parental alienation is present. It would do her some good to get further education in Forensic Psychology..maybe then, she would be able to spot a narcissist trying to alienate a child from another parent. Due to her, a chIld no longer gets overnights with a drug free, no criminal background, non psychologically diagnosed mother. Berla believed the ailenating parent with zero proof.
