The lack of professionalism and courtesy at our last appointment was appalling. Prior to that, she’s been fine with our child. The most recent appointment wasn’t so pleasant because we arrived on time (which we always do).. and she came out into the waiting area, made eye contact with my child and I and then walked over to a client, who was seated (perhaps waiting for a ride?) and started a conversation with her about something related to her child’s therapy. After about 5 minutes into my child’s session, we were standing watching her talking to her other client. I politely said “excuse me, but my daughters appointment started 5 minutes ago and she’s very irritable waiting out here”. Her reply to me was “I’ll be with you in a minute.” My issue is mainly that she should’ve taken the time to say that she’d be with us when she first acknowledged that we were there. Not blatantly ignore us and act as if our time doesn’t mean anything. Very rude and off putting, that day.
