Katherine Saunders, FNP

Katie Saunders was my PCP for several years until I recently moved out of the area. She is very friendly, approachable and compassionate. She is honest. she listens and tries to help you the best she can. She goes to a great length to take care of her patients. She is passionate about medicine and uses updated and evidence-based modalities to treat her patients. I have really enjoyed having her as my PCP. I miss her dearly.

When my regular provider was not available, I was able to meet with Katherine and she was both helpful, kind and listened to my concerns. It’s not always easy seeing a new provider but I was pleasantly surprised to have such a wonderful person available that day. I will definitely work with her again in the future!

I've met with her several times, but every single interaction comes with some kind of headache. She's very nice in person, I'll give her that, but inattentive to your questions, concerns, and it seems like her brain is out to lunch more than it's working. Trying to get a controlled prescription refilled is a HUGE headache every single month.

Katherine is kind, caring and an amazing professional. I am so happy with her that I had my spouse transfer to her practice. She is the absolute best.

I have seen Katherine twice and both times she has been dismissive and unhelpful. She will only address one issue during the appointment even if they are related. She is so dismissive that I ended up going to the walk in care just to be heard and get treated. I do not recommend this provider and will not return to the practice.

My mother who is 73 years old has been a patient at this office for ten years and never had any problems until Ms Saunders arrived. Ms Saunders came in and immediately started to boss her around. She decided that my mom doesn’t need to sleep- she took her off of the ONLY thing that helped her sleep! For months now my mom hasn’t been sleeping and is EXHAUSTED! She gets maybe an hour or two of sleep a night, if she gets that much. There is a reason why torture techniques include sleep deprivation, and my mom is getting very weak. Now, Ms Saunders doesn’t want to refill my mom’s other prescription for her thyroid. It’s a good thing that she’s not diabetic- Ms Saunders would probably take her off of insulin! My mom called to speak with someone today and she was told by Jill that she should try other medications with side effects instead of the ONE thing she needs! Jill basically told my mom that she doesn’t need sleep. I’m beyond pissed that a doctor would do this to a 73 year old woman!

I rarely write reviews but wanted to emphasis how impressed and happy I was with Ms. Saunders. She truly does embody the definition of professional and compassionate care. She patiently spent all the time needed to answer questions and give opinions about the issues I was there for, as well as a few supplementary general questions that I had. And, all with a smile and without that "rushed" feeling you often get with medical visits. I would highly recommend her and for that matter, all the staff at EMMC Hampden. A great group of knowledgeable and kind people, from the front window all the way through to the sign out window.

I've been seen by Katherine on 3 occasions and I'm always at ease with her. She is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable.
