Katherine worked with me for over a year, and she provided help that was crucial in aiding me in understanding my BPD. Katherine understood me well, and didn't let me get too far ahead of myself in my therapy. When I asked for resources outside of therapy she provided them. The DBT Katherine helped me learn has been the biggest factor in establishing stability in my life. There was a billing issue when I switched to a new insurance company, but Katherine resolved the issue without hassle.

After visiting Katherine about 5-6 times I realized that it was not the best method of therapy for me. While she is good as a sounding board and an unbiased party to listen to you, talk therapy is not going to help me understand where I need growth. I reached back out to her to help mediate and lead me though a very difficult task with family in which she agreed to help me execute. However, mid-session when it came time to execute and I needed support, she told me that was not in her skill set.
