Please read my story before making an appointment with Katherine. I saw Katherine for right around a month and I nearly lost my life under her care. In the span of 3 weeks, she added two new medications to my regimen and took me off an existing medication that I had been on for over 5 years. I have been medicated for close to a decade and no psychiatric provider has ever done so much to my medication in such a short period of time. I became suicidal on a Saturday night and I didn’t hear from Katherine until 2 days later on Monday. When we finally connected, I asked her why neither I nor her colleague could get in touch with her. She said she thought I had gone to a psychiatric hospital to receive treatment for my episode. I told her that I had not and that I had been trying to reach her for nearly 24 hours. She callously said, “I thought you were in the hospital.
