My daughter had an adverse reaction to a new medication and when she attempted to call Katie she was told that she had left for the day (Thursday) and wouldn't be back until Monday. My daughter went off the medication because the reactions she was having were severe and what happened afterward was a nightmare. In order to advocate on her behalf I called and was told that they are a private practice who contract with various nurse practitioners. I was then told they would "leave a note" on Katie's desk. I asked if anyone could assist in Katie's absence because it was dangerous for her not to be on medication and was told no. How can any mental health provider, especially one involved in medication management, not get back to their patients about medication within 24 hours? Complete irresponsibility on Centered Counseling and Katie's part. Avoid this place like the plaque especially if your medication is being worked out.

I have been seeing her for almost 3 years now and I love her. She is caring, understanding, helpful, knowledgeable and accessible.

I wish I could give her a zero. She is awful. She changed the dosage of a med without telling me. It sent me to the hospital for 3 days. She wouldn’t fix her mistake. She said “I don’t know what to do. I’m just a nurse.” Stay away from her. She could cost you your life!
