Amazing Trans informed OBGYN
Dr. Braaten is a rockstar. I am trans and over the years have had some awful experiences with OBGYN’s. To be honest I was bracing myself a little bit for this appointment after past experiences with other OBGYNs. However, Dr. Braaten has very clearly been working with trans folx for a long time in such a way where I felt like I didn’t have to explain very much and nothing I said with something she hadn’t heard. I felt very understood and respected and like my best interest was being considered throughout the whole appointment. She was very caring and respectful during the pelvic exam to make sure that I felt comfortable with what was happening and guided through the whole thing. She listened very carefully and suggested thoughtful, well-balanced potential options for what’s going on, all the while making me feel empowered to choose what I felt would be best for me. Can’t recommend her enough for trans folx looking for a doctor who really cares about you and knows the latest on trans

Dr. Braaten’s advice put me through some of the worse pain in my life and she both minimized my pain and failed to solve the issue. It only took one appointment with another doctor to resolve months of excruciating pain. As a young woman, I would caution others from seeking basic care with her.
