She is the best example I’ve seen why NPs should not practice without physician supervision. I have seen her mismanage countless other patients (friends of mine) over the few months I was in her care; two to the point of actual peril which necessitated third party action. My personal experience with her is detailed below. This nurse practitioner has possibly the worst bedside manner of anyone I’ve ever encountered. She also doesn’t know how to do a focused physical exam. She energetically admonished and chastised me for lifestyle behavior that she thinks are (not actually ) contributing to your symptoms, and seemed to make up explanations for my symptoms that may or may not reflect medical science. She has captive patients without much means of recourse or seeking alternative care; people who are in partial hospitalization for substance abuse. An absurdly weak leak in another stellar treatment team.
