Dr. Karen Tyson, PSY.D

Our experience with this place and Dr, was not a great one. First I want to disclose since this office and its workers do not disclose this information.. if you have animal allergies avoid this place. They have a mass amount of cats just roaming all over the office, along with some birds and dogs etc. first time walking into this office I was met with the most atrocious smell of animal urine and feces. Even my mask did not help block out the smell. I honestly was disgusted as this is supposed to be a professional medical office and I have a child at home who does have animal dander allergies. Mind you if we had been for warned or given a disclosure we could’ve chosen to not enter this office. Second, we really did not get information explained to us about time frames and the whole process of this evaluation for my 4 year old. This is our first time going through something like this so I expected to have sit down one on ones with the doctor and she would tell me what to expect

Husband & I met with Ms. Tyson. I didn't like her (she was very rude), but she came highly recommended so we agreed to hire HER. She never saw my daughter once; instead she had someone else in her office work with my daughter. This woman was very inexperienced and unorganized. At one of our appointments, we waited nearly an hour after our appointment time; received no apologies but were asked to reschedule since wouldn't have enough time to meet with our daughter. Wasted time off from work!
