Karen Smith, RN

I have seen Karen Smith, APRN, several times. She has provided the best care. She is pleasant, cheerful, kind, very through, and detailed. Karen does listen to what you have to say and will work with you on a plan of care that is best for you. I would not hesitate for an instance to be seen by her again or let her see my family members.

Karen Smith comes in the door rude and leaves rude. What her mouth doesn't say, her body language does. I went in asking for a steroid shot for allergies because that always works. She did not want to give me a shot, but relented. She listened to my lungs, but did not look in my ears or nose to check for possible sinus infection. When the nurse came to give me my shot, I asked him how she knew I didn't have a sinus infection since she didn't look. She came back in with a major attitude and told me that I didn't "tell her" that I might have a sinus infection. She blamed all of that on me instead of the fact that she was the healthcare provider and should have known to look. She also was supposed to prescribe me nose spray, but when I got to the pharmacy she had prescribed me cough pills, of which we had never discussed. When I called the office back, they told me I could come back in and pay another copay and possibly be prescribed nose spray. She falsified information from our visit.
