Terrible experience with Karen. When my epidural stopped working she did not believe I was in pain and refused to call the anesthesiologist. I pushed for three hours with most of that time spent with her refusing to help me and telling me the pain was in my head. It was terrifying. I hope no one else ever has to experience the trauma of having Karen for their delivery.

I was hesitant to use a midwife but had the best experience with Karen. I was considered moderately high risk with a low platelet count and 3 previous back surgeries and she managed my care perfectly. She advocated that I have an epidural. She was amazing at reading my body and helping me make the most of my contractions. I healed so quickly from my episiotomy with little to no pain or bleeding and the pediatrician commented on how excellent my son's circumcision was. Can't wait to use her again
