NW controls reviews on its site, so don’t be fooled by those. I dealt with Karen for years. Her main job was to coordinate tests for the STAR program patients. Many times she mismanaged my appointments (ie literally forgot to make them or scheduled wrong test). Her other responsibility was to inform of potential future health risks from chemo and radiation. One particular mtg she discussed breast cancer, to the point where she scared me. I asked if prevention (mastectomy) was necessary. She turned to her coworker, made a face, then LAUGHED. I thought of that often as I later went through breast cancer. Dr. Aarati Didwania protects Karen, which results in no fear of job performance. Karen cares more about her image, advertising her “expertise” and checking boxes than she does the patient. I wish I had left the STAR program yrs earlier. It is a money conveyor belt (they recommend test after test) you don’t need. Find trusted Drs in all areas (heart, etc) and work with them directly.
