claimed to specialize in adult autism testing
Went in for autism testing as an adult, she did very little actual autism testing. She decided to focus her testing in other areas that she was curious about rather than testing on what I scheduled and was paying $$$$ for. Mostly used verbal interview for assessing autism (did at least use RAADS-R, which was well over limits to be on spectrum) and was very clear that she did not really listen to me as her outline of my answers in her report were not at all what I stated. Guided me to correct answers several times and made me feel uncomfortable when I didn't know answer for some questions. Did not at all take into account that an adult would have many years of learning to mask symptoms. Invalidated patients bringing in lists of symptoms saying that everyone does the things people typically list. Could go on and on about inconsistencies with testing, scaling, and reporting. Said it would take 2-3 weeks for report, took 6+ weeks. Definitely would NOT recommend for adult austism testing!

Be warned! Their policies are very very unfair and aggressive. We ended up deciding not to use their service, yet their policies mandated I still pay. Even after they agreed to work with me on a payment plan they unilaterally decided to charge my card repeatedly until they got everything to go through. I didn’t thoroughly review the breakdown of the cost per appointment. However, charging $590 for an initial 30 minute a health history call is excessive. In addition to that the first five minutes of the zoom call with Karen Jordan was very condescending. She was dissatisfied that I hadn’t confirmed The appointment sooner. I scheduled three or four months prior and it was on my calendar. She also didn’t seem to like when I questioned the amount of money for her diagnosis versus immediately putting my child into tutoring.

My daughter was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. Dr. Jordan was very compassionate. She treated my daughter like an adult, which was very important to an almost 16 year old! She also kept mom and dad in the loop. Her staff is very welcoming. The report we got was so detailed.

My son had the most positive experience with Dr. Jordan. He was diagnosed with autism at 4 years old. She made the whole testing process fun and easy for him. As a mom this really put my mind at ease. She kept my husband and I informed along the way. The recommendations and steps to take post evaluation were wonderful. The receptionist is wonderful as well. I can’t say enough good things! Early intervention was the key to my sons success. Highly recommend!
