I was on my period for over a month, went to see kalanete because she had the first available appointment. She didn’t give a thorough ultra sound and didn’t care to notice that my IUD had migrated. She instead tried to dismiss me and prescribe me a hormonal birth control on top of the IUD I still had. Horribly dismissive, incompetent, and insensitive. Wish I could sue her.

Worst Experience I've Ever Had
I would like to dismiss myself as being too 'overemotional' but after giving myself time to think about my first and last appointment with Kalanete, I can say that I've never felt so vulnerable and bullied by a medical professional before. She did not present herself like she wanted to be my practitioner, she was looking for any reason to finish my appointment the second it started. I was kind and she was incredibly standoffish. She was so dismissive about my health concerns, I would not recommend her to any family or friends. She did not seem knowledgable at all, nor does she seem to care for her patients.

She was in a rush to leave. Didn’t have much patience. Her knowledge about basic health issues were apparently basic or non existent. Got to change the PCP now.
