Kait is Great!
I started PT after surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon I received while playing soccer. The projected recovery time for this surgery is 6-12 months. At 55 years old, I am very pleased with a 9 month recovery. Several times during the process Kait was able to isolate different muscle groups in my foot, ankle, and leg. She is really knowledgeable in the field and that helped expedite my recovery. Kait also has a very positive outlook and is very easy to talk to. This helped me quite a bit when I was feeling like we had plateaued during the recovery. At this time, I have 2 more weeks of back to run interval training and then I'll be back on the soccer field! I highly recommend Kait for any PT needs.

Got quick results with Kait as my PT.
I could hardly walk when I started my physical therapy due to a hip sprain. I told her that I wanted to be able to lead with my right foot when walking up stairs. Within a month that was happening. My last month I went just one day per week to prefect the exercises she recommended.

Dr. Donovan was a wonderful physical therapist and under her expertise and constant patience I was able to build the right knee muscles so that the bone on bone pain diminished considerable. She really built my confidence and her friendliness really helped the whole process.

I came to Dr. Donovan with post surgery rehab for a mid-foot fusion. The recovery for this type of surgery was quite a bit longer than I anticipated. Dr. Donovan and her staff could not have been more supportive and helpful in facilitating my recovery. At times I felt that would never be pain free. They worked with me and helped me keep a positive attitude. By the end of my rehabilitation I was able to walk not only with out pain but I did not even have the limp that plagued me for the last few years. Many thanks to your staff and Dr. Donovan for all of the support, wonderful bedside manner and professionalism in taking care of me throughout my rehabilitation for this injury and surgery recovery.

I was Kait's patient for a year and a half, through 2 injuries and 2 surgeries, left knee and right ankle. She had infinite patience with me as I was terrible at doing my at-home exercises, but I still managed to make a fantastic recovery. I actually had my ankle surgery just 2 and a half months after my knee surgery - that's how well my rehab went. I appreciated the constant tuning of my recovery program based on how well I was doing or if I needed a new challenge. I also appreciated that I couldn't "take it easy" as Kait was always ensuring I was making improvements, visit after visit. I also felt that my exercise program was very comprehensive. My rehab was never solely focused on the side of my surgery, but instead Kait made sure that I recovered my strength and balance equally across my body. I highly recommend Dr. Donovan.

Kait took excellent care of me after knee surgery. Her expertise and caring nature helped get me back on my feet. Using a variety of treatments, I was able to gain full range of motion and return to rowing. Kait listens to what you need to feel better. Hopefully I will not need PT again but if I did, I would absolutely go back to her. She is one of the best.

Dr. Kaitlyn "KD" Donovan was my first stop after a double knee replacement. Her encouraging but no-nonsense approach got me off crutches & moving around without assistance within just a few days. After a thorough assessment, she developed an aggressive rehab plan, & kept me on track throughout. KD's combination of therapeutic massage & rehab exercises, coupled with ongoing evaluation of my needs, informed by her b/g as a collegiate gymnast, were fundamental to my recovery. KD distinguished herself in 2 ways: (1) She listened. This wasn't "bring the patient in, hurry through PT, and bill an hour." This was discussion, observation, & adjustment--every session. (2) She personally worked with my referring physician & his staff to ensure that both my care and the billing were taken care of. KD & her entire team worked hard to give me WORLD CLASS post-surgical rehabilitation. WIthin 6 months of surgery, I was running, jumping, swimming, & weightlifting to Marine Corps standards. Thanks KD!

In May 2019, I went under surgery on my right ankle to treat a condition called Ostheocondritis, which is a decrease/lacking of cartilage between two bones. Dr. Donovan's holistic approach towards the post surgery recovery process helped my body to heal in both aspects, mind and body. Dr. Donovan was excellent and genuine in making you part of the process, providing vital information at each stage of my recovery which brought calm and patience to my type of personality. Always open for questions and transparent if changes or other resources were needed to improve the injury. As a result, I am capable of performing all former physical activities, feeling safe and secure. I highly recommend Dr. Donovan.

I had a very painful frozen shoulder due to an injury. I had constant pain and had trouble moving my arm. I started seeing Kate and she was amazing. She worked on my shoulder to help with the pain and give me back movement in my arm/shoulder. She gave me exercises to do at home. Also, when I started up yoga she encouraged me to continue. Kate was wonderful to work with. She answered all my questions. After a year of physical therapy, I can now move my arm without any pain, which is all due to Kate. She has a strong medical background. I watched her handle patients with a wide range of injuries. I strongly recommend Kate for any injury.

I worked with Kait over the course of a number of months for a couple of different sports injuries (hip and shoulder). These injuries were not severe, but I was very concerned about degeneration over time, and they were considerably impeding my quality of life. With her care and guidance, I was able to get back to powerlifting safely and without pain. Kait was knowledgeable, empathetic, and patient: some of the best qualities that a medical professional can have.
