Kaitlin Georgiafandis, PA-C

I have a history of knee problems due to my lifelong trade. Since retiring several years ago, my knees had been feeling much better. After hurricane IAN damaged so much of my property, I've been forced into physical labor again cleaning up and rebuilding, which has brought the old knee problems back. Kaitlin patiently let me explain my history of many past years of x-rays, MRI's, orthopedic doctor visits and types of treatment I've had. I felt like she respected my understanding of my knees, what activity causes or aggravates my injuries and what treatment has been most helpful. She examined me, asked good questions about my current pain and gave me cortisone shots for now, and will later give me viscous fluid (euflexxa) shots, as these had worked amazingly well for me in the past. I appreciate that Kaitlin listened and worked with me so I can continue to work on my property damage issues for another year and hopefully retire again soon from hard labor. I gladly give her five stars.

My only contact with Kaitlin--she was covering night call. My husband had outpatient shoulder surgery by Dr. Trenhaile and unfortunately his pain block to his shoulder did not take. Sent home with a pain script that could not be filled by anyone in Rockford or Belvidere. Called answering service at 10:30 pm and Kaitlin's responce was to contact the office in the a.m. A fresh post-op patient without any pain med for the night?! She was arrogant & rude; refused to help me. No compassion!
