was charged $15 for an examine then $39 for pictures of the eye, no problem when went to pay and was charged $85. (shocker) we did ask what the additional charge was for it was for a refraction here's the explanation. A refraction exam is an eye exam that measures a person's prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses. It evaluates how light enters the eyes and where it lands in relation to the retina4. This can be done by shining a light into the eyes or using a tool with dials, switches, and lenses. A refraction exam can detect refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. It is usually given as part of a routine eye examination. This should have been part of the examine.
