Why didn't I do this sooner? TyposOnPurpose
When I started seeing Julie I was suicidal with migraines that were at an 8of10 on the pain scale. I was getting them 2or3x a week. Going to the ER weekly for pain injections, and hospitalized after a 6 week long migraine that couldn't be broken. No one could tell me why I was getting them. My first neurologist just kept increasing my daily med dosage. I dropped from 140 pds to 100 pds. I was sick! Luckily, my PCP took me off that med and I gained back the weight. And he referred me to see Julie. She helped me find some meds to kind of help the migraines. All the while suggesting I try onobotuli But I was scared as I'm allergic to so many things. She was very repectful of my decision not to do it. Finally, though, I was tired. And I decided to try the shots. Changed my life! While I still get weekly migraines, they are down to a 4or5of10 on the pain scale, I'm not going to the ER ev wk, and I'm no longer suicuidal And, she uses icy spray during the shots so it's less painful. Love her!

She does not have the compassion and communication skills of a good doctor. I felt she dismissed the severity of my symptoms. Seeing many similar reviews, I hope that she will get some training in interpersonal skills and bedside manner. These are major factors for patients' healing and well-being.

Julie has been a blessing along a long road with a complicated matter. I am so thankful to have a provider such as Julie who has taken the time to listen to me thoroughly about my concerns and helped with alternative methods or suggestions when my body did not respond to other treatments which was no fault of hers. She especially was patient with me when I wasn't always the easiest person to deal with and I am appreciative of that as we patients forget just how many other patients and issues medical providers handle on a daily basis. She always has given her undivided attention no matter what. I've been treated by physicians who don't have anywhere near the knowledge Julie does.

Julie Solomon is a outstanding health care provider. I feel fortunate that I have been match up with her for my MS care. I would also like to share a recent experience with a new, but rare diagnosis. If it wasn’t for Julie, this rare blood cancer probably wouldn’t have been detected as early as it was. It was Julie’s concern and actions to have my lab results reviewed by a blood specialist. This action cleared the path for detecting this uncommon type of cancer. I cannot thank her enough for her attention to detail, and not being afraid to question some lab results which may not have been necessarily in her field of expertise. More healthcare providers should as the question “why” more often in my opinion, so something rare and potentially deadly is not overlooked. Thank you Julie Solomon! Steve M.

Julie unfortunately exhibits the behavior that I personally despise most in medical practitioners. Gives you the feeling that she is rushed and more concerned about getting you out the door, than answering your questions. I've been dealing with a very complex and challenging issue for years that I was hoping to get some clarity and resolution on, and extracting any helpful information from her was like pulling teeth. Difficult, and uncomfortable. I'm giving 2 stars because I feel she is probably pretty good at what she does, providing prescriptions and referals, but my feeling is that she is quite lacking in empathy and understanding/addressing the patient's needs. Having expressed several times that I was hoping for a consultation to help me gain knowledge and a better understanding of what I'm dealing with, it became increasingly clear in my time with her, after two tries, that she's not capable of providing this.

Good listener, I felt like she understood what I have been through and how these headaches have affected me for many years. I finally got relief from my headaches after searching for a good solution. We had to try a few medications first, but finally found the combination that worked best for me!

I Have been seeing Julie for many years. She has filled my life full of HOPE and Joy and Love, When she first met me I was a mess. Grand Mall seizures, anxiety, suicdal thoughts, depression, but a mother of 3 so suicide was never an option, but the thoughts were strong. I was 50 lbs overweight, She helped me get down to my usual weight, which helped many other problems. Julie can recognise how to fix a life, She is INCREDIBLE.She follows up on her own time, making sure you know you are Loved.

Julie is a perfect example of why some people become Doctors and others just don’t have the mental capacity. She isn’t good enough to know she isn’t knowledgeable enough about the myriad problems facing her daily. If your condition is small like a contusion, cold she is fine. But anything more that could seriously impact your long term health or be potentially life threatening stay away, she misdiagnosis and other mistakes can have lasting effects on you and those who love you.

She only sits at the computer and prescribed me medicine. I told her about some side effects I was having with the medication and she prescribed me an even higher dose of it. I’ve seen a neurologist prior to her that had a treatment plan and she hasn’t followed up on my condition that I was diagnosed with. Instead she diagnosed me with somatic symptom disorder which basically means I’m full of crap and make stuff up. But my prior neurologist diagnosed me with something due to my abnormal MRI.

I was in a horrible accident a few years ago . I have had a wonderful pain management Dr work with me for a few years now so that Im able to function living with chronic pain. I recently just started Seeing Julie. I am 57 yrs old i have NEVER felt so disrespected by a Dr. She would not listen to my chronic pain issues. She wanted to take me off all the meds that have helped me get through each day.She will NOT control your pain. She is against meds and sends you to therapy. Horrid pain control

I saw this provider and tried to explain what was going on. I felt her goal was to take me off my 1 pain medication and put on something that didn't work that I had already tried. I totally felt like she could give a rat's butt about me and why I was there.. I was so angry because she basically all but walked out of our appointment which was unprofessional.

I was greatly suffering when I saw Julie Solomon. She offered little evidence that she cared about easing my condition and would interrupt me when I tried to explain what was going on. Really difficult bedside manner when I was this vulnerable and needing help. I felt like she wasn't interested in listening to me. Prescribed a medicine dose that made me worse and didn't follow up. My insurance said she was nonresponsive when they requested information. I felt abandoned.
