Refused service after driving all the way there!
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated over my experience today at Dr Julie Briscoe's office in Forney. After setting the appointment nearly a month ago, I was refused service today because of a bill which did not get paid by the insurance which covered the visit. The issue is that Dr. Briscoe's office failed to notify me of this until I drove up from Waxahachie for this appointment, rather than notify me in advance, even though I had spoken to their office several times prior. Once when setting the initial appointment, and again when, because of a scheduling error on their part (they had double booked me for two different days) a representative reached out to me to clarify and confirm the appointment and cancel the other. They never mentioned the unpaid balance of over $300 which I just didn't have at this time to pay it on my own. I'm a veteran and that balance should have been paid through Tri-west services but wasn't, but apparently Dr. Briscoe's office doesn't care about
