I'm in my early 50's and noticed my hearing was declining. She diagnosed me with a problem that turns out to be genetic although my relative didn't get hers diagnosed. She was extremely thorough, exceptionally kind and tried many hearing aids on me (carefully explaining the pros and cons of each and not pushing the most expensive.) She wasn't sure they would help because my hearing was not bad enough yet and because of the type of problem I have (celia in eardrum dying).
