Dr. Joshua Vinocour, PHD

When Dr. Vinocour was our school psychologist, he made a false report to social services, saying our child had 'unexcused' absences (not true--we followed the school rules, always called, sent doctor's notes as needed). Adding insult to injury, he then included a false anecdote in our child's evaluation. Put another way, he invented a story that never happened. He stated that social services had been called while we were homeschooling, for poor educational standards. It is true that we homeschooled for two years. But when our child first enrolled in public school, their academic test scores were very high, across the board. The test scores only began to drop AFTER they were enrolled in public school. Perhaps Dr. Vinocour was angry that we refused ABA therapy for our autistic child (not without cause; multiple studies show ABA causes PTSD. ABA was invented by the same doctor who invented conversion therapy for LGBTQ people--same techniques). Vinocour is untrustworthy, to put it mildly.
