Dr. Joseph Serniak, OD

The doctor was good and explained everything nicely, I got the service on 07/13/2021 me and my spouse, I think we were the last on this date. To an extent I agree with others review about staff at Walmart vison; but, not that bad!!! There is scope of improvement for supporting staff DR himself was good.

I love Dr. S as I saw him since I was a kid when he worked at Pearl Vision when it was in the Columbia Mall. But.... his staff at Walmart is a complete joke. So snobby and rude to customers. I don't understand why they are so snobby because its a Walmart for crying out loud! They don't take any insurance whatsoever including Blue Cross. I don't understand. It's a Walmart not a 5 Star Hotel!

Dr Serniak OD, is contracted by the Lehighton Walmart and on June 29th 2019 at 1:45 I made an appointment for the same day at 3:40. Upon arrival there was no one in the Vision center (3:36) so I used the restroom. Upon returning to the vision center 3:40 on the dot there was still no one in the vision center and so I was trying on glasses when after 5-6 minutes one of the vision center personnel came in and looked at me and then went about refilling the printer. It wasn’t until I said something that he acknowledged me (3:48) I told him who I was and he told me that the Dr had left for the day. He stated that I wasn’t there on time and after proving via security camera footage that I was indeed on time they told me there was nothing they could do and I was sent on my way. This is what you get I suppose when you use this physician. It was a Saturday and he wanted to leave so my needs and my business were thrown away.
